Public Health Emergency Response Guide Now Available
The Public Health Emergency Response Guide for State, Local, and Tribal Public Health Directors has been finalized and can now be accessed on the CDC Emergency Preparedness and Response website at www.bt.cdc.gov. A pocket-sized field version of the guide will be available to state, local, and tribal public health departments in January 2005.

CUSEC and the USGS held a press conference today at the CUSEC offices today to unveil a new map that has been overtwo years in the making. The map depicts historical earthquakes that were large enough to be felt, starting in 1699.
