Illinois Director Elected Chairman of the CUSEC Board of Directors

CUSEC Associate States Participate in 1st ever Great SouthEast ShakeOut Drill

On October 18, 2012, more than 1.8 million people participated in the first ever Great SouthEast ShakeOut.  This included participants in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia, who were joining Maryland and the District of Columbia in this historic earthquake preparedness campaign. Minor Earthquake Rumbles Mid-South

On October 29, 2012 a magnitude 3.9 earthquake shook portions of Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, and Mississippi.  The earthquake was centered near Parkin, Arkansas and was the largest earthquake in the region in several years.  Damages or injuries from the earthquake have not been reported and are expected to be minimal.  If you felt the earthquake, […]
