2019 CUSEC New Madrid Seismic Zone Tabletop Exercise

In collaboration with FEMA’s National Exercise Program, CUSEC participated in a tabletop exercise on March 20, 2019 in Springfield, IL. The exercise provided CUSEC States and other key stakeholders an opportunity to come together, in advance of the Shaken Fury 2019 Functional Exercise, to discuss and assess plans, policies, and procedures related to information sharing integration and EMAC operations following a New Madrid Seismic Zone earthquake. The event was co-hosted hosted by CUSEC, FEMA, Kentucky Emergency Management, and the Illinois Emergency Management Agency. Details, including proceedings, are listed below.
