On May 15-16, 2019 the Kentucky Emergency Management Agency and American Red Cross, in partnership with CUSEC, are presenting a seminar on operating and supporting mega-shelters following a disaster. Held in Louisville, Kentucky, the seminar will provide participants with information on what a mega-shelter is, what it takes to operate and support one, challenges of a mega-shelter, lessons learned from past disasters, and more.
