Earthquake Awareness Week 2009 Print E-mail

Each year in late January and in February, several CUSEC States participate in joint efforts to raise the level of earthquake awareness in the central United States.  Activities include things such as Press Conferences, Governor's Proclamations, Town Hall Meetings, Exhibits, Earthquake related training, and much more.  In 2009, States holding Earthquake Awareness Activities include Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee.

Below is a list of currently scheduled activities for each state, however, due to current winter/ice storm conditions, some events may be rescheduled or postponed. For more detailed information,  contact your State Earthquake Program Manager or CUSEC for more information.
