Below is a project listing of earthquake mitigation projects that have occurred in the central United States since the 1990s. These projects are typically funded through FEMA under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) or the Pre-Disaster Mitigation (PDM) program. We will continue to update the project listing as time goes on and we find other projects that may not be listed below. If you know of a project that is not listed here, but would like to include it in the listing, please contact us at

Precast concrete panel exterior bearing walls will be utilized for the exterior gymnasium-multipurpose room walls. In addition to the wind/earthquake resistant structural system design, a backup generator sized to allow for emergency lighting, food service operations and minimal space power. The project has subsequently been refocused to seismic resistance, excluding wind resistance and the backup generator.
