The CUSEC Communications Officers Working Group is an association of the CUSEC Member State emergency management agencies’ communications officers. Their primary mission is to advise the CUSEC Board on communications issues as related to the earthquake threat. They can provide their experience and expertise to the Board, CUSEC staff, and other CUSEC Member States. Each state’s cooperation in the group better enforces the ability of the states to interact and be aware of their common communications structures and shared challenges, especially those challenges following a disaster.
